Tom Merrill’s website is titled https://merrill4snohomish.com
It provides all of the relevant information one might need to make an educated voting decision. Pay special attention to the endorsements. In an extensive list of public officials and contributors, you will find Susanna Johnson, our current Snohomish County Sheriff. She has endorsed Tom Merrill over challenger Randall Marrs, who is most recently an Everett Police Officer, and notes past employment with Snohomish County Sheriff’s County as a Marshall.
That said, I have committed to laying out the civic engagement that got people to their council positions initially; and keeps them there, because they stay involved.

Randall Marrs campaign page is https://marrsforsnohomish.com .
Randall Marrs has most recently worked as an officer with the Everett Police Department, but also notes working as a Marshall with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office in the past. He claims service in the US Army and deployment to Iraq. However, it appears that his service was with the National Guard while in Iraq. Marrs does not mention National Guard service in his resume, and a query does not confirm US Army service, which raises a question.
Marrs has lived in Snohomish for 28 years. His entire volunteer resume rests on his military and police work.
